A Great Painter, A Great Legacy!

Ray M. Wolf had a dream. In 1991, he bought paintbrushes and a few rollers then began to ask everyone he knew if they needed anything painted, and thus his works has created the business now known as Ray the Painter. Ray’s commitment to customer service, detail, and professionalism allowed his painting business to grow and flourish over the next several years. Unfortunately, in 2009 Ray passed away after his brief struggle with cancer. Ray left behind a successful company and a great company team. Included in his team was the company's current president Amy Wewers. In December 2012, Amy purchased Ray the Painter from Ray’s wife Mary.

Amy started working for Ray Wolf in 2001. She worked her way up from painter to lead painter, crew leader, estimator, president, and eventually the owner of Ray the Painter. Amy loved working for a company that appreciated not only their customers but also their employees. She felt like she had a connection with the company. She enjoyed doing her job.

When Amy purchased the company, it was operated out of a 2,400 sq. ft. facility. In June of 2014, she purchased a 7,000 sq. ft. double warehouse. This was a dramatic increase in space, but still needed remodeling to become workable. Walls were built for offices, the other side was designated for the shop, equipped with a spray room. Along with the purchase of the new location, she added two vehicles to her fleet that you may have seen on the road as they are coated with a paint splash wrap.

Outstanding customer service and professional craftsmanship is what Ray the Painter provides. Our mission statement remains: We stay until the job is done and done right! Satisfaction guaranteed! In fact, Ray the Painter offers a two-year warranty, which is rare in this industry.
